			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="announcement_post"><p style="text-align: justify;">I read on the doctors wall where they have posters informing you of different diseases and they had one where diabetes can hurt your skin and said &#8220;Protect Your Skin&#8221;  And I am just curious to know.  How does diabetes hurt your skin?  What would your skin look like when it is affected by diabetes?</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">My concern is because my mom know has Diabetes type 2 and I am concern for myself and not sure if I have the signs.   No health insurance.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Before diabetes type 2  becomes fully developed. You will go through a  stage known as pre-diabetes. This is where you begin  to show some symptoms, which, if ignored, can lead to truly diabetes.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Make action based on this  7 step.  So you can stop this  disease happening to you:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1) If you are overweight  you are at risk of diabetes. Reducing the amount of  food on your plate so you gradually eat less and begin to lose weight. Drink a glass of water or  sugar-free drink before dinner.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2) Reduce the amount of  fat you eat &#8211; grilled foods instead of frying; using low-fat oil, and  reduce fat foods.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3) Check the Glycemic  Index in foods that you eat &#8211; knowing what each food contains helps maintain  your blood sugar, which in turn can prevent the occurrence of diabetes.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4) Drink at least 8  glasses of water every day. If you keep a bottle of  water with you and drink it frequently you&#8217;ll be surprised how much you drink  throughout the day.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">5) If you feel hungry,  choose healthy snacks instead of chocolate.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">6) Use skim instead of  full-fat milk in hot drinks.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">7) The exercise is good  for health. Walk for 15-minute every day  will allow you in a regular exercise pattern.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">All these measures are  also recommended for  people with diabetes &#8211; if you do it now, might be  able to prevent diabetes in your body.</p>
