In 1979, The American Diabetes Association explains there are two types of Diabetes.
Type-1 Insulin-Dependent Diabetes
This is the most severe diabetes. This occurs when the pancreas produces little or no insulin. Without insulin in the bloodstream, the sugar does not enter into the cell, and remains in the blood. People with type-1 diabetes depend on insulin injections to regulate their less metabolism is less.
Type-2 Non Insulin Dependent Diabetes
Type of diabetes is also known as adult diabetes. Rarely found in patients before the age of 40 years, although it may occur at any stage. Patients with diabetes are not aware and not detected as diabetes during long periods and for many years.
One common factor in both type 1 and type-2 diabetes is the increase in blood sugar levels. However, unlike type-1 diabetes, type-2 are not immune system diseases.
While people with type-1 diabetes must use insulin to live, most of them with type-2 diabetes can control this disease. This is possible with the right combination of food, apropriate weight control and adequate training.
